From this investigation, it is observed that there is an effect of EGR with neat diesel fuel in DI diesel engine on NOX, CO and performance. This results may be summarized as follows:
1. Maximum amount of NOX production is reduced by increasing the percentage of EGR.
2. Comparatively more CO emission is observed with EGR.
3. NOX and CO formation in the combustion chamber changes significantly with the change in percentage of EGR.
4. NOx and CO emission properties are observed with load.
