Current System of Pyrolysis System :

On the current system setup


The performance of the system could be improved further, to produce better and reliable results. The following recommendations are suggested for improvement.


1. For supplying the heat to the reactor bed by electric heater.
2. The heating rate and temperature control should be proper with thermostat or other suitable systems that maintain the required temperature level at the system.
3. The internal heating system should be insulated to reduce heat loss.
4. The char products of the work were reasonably high. This high char can be characterized and the energy content of the char may be considered for more economic utilization.
