Introduction:
Industrial attachment or industrial training is one of the most important
courses for the students of Mechanical Engineering. This is offered to us
in the 3rd year 6th semester at year of 2007.The duration of our course was
28 days from 16 Sep-13 Oct. For this purpose we managed to complete the course
in an industry named“Matin Spinning Mills Ltd”. This is an export
oriented yarn(spin) production factory.The industrial attachment is mainly
for learning the maintenance at industry.
Purpose of industrial Attachment:
i) To know the industrial machinery maintenance techniques.
ii) To observe the working procedure of various machine parts as well as the
whole machine.
iii) To know the industrial matters and Utility matters to solve.
iv) Also the production process of the products, then inspection and marketing.
Textiles are subdivided into four sections, such as-
i) Spinning
ii) Knitting
iii) Dyeing
iv) Garment
Matin Spinning Mills are mainly related with four departments such as
1. Maintenance department
2. Utility department
3. Production department
4. Quality department
