General Safety Instructions:
i) No open flame or flying sparks are allowed in the place of installation.
ii) Ensure that clean air without damaging impurities is feed to the compressor
unit.
iii) During any necessary welding on the compressor unit or nearby ensure
that sparks or high temperatures cannot cause fire or explosion.
iv) Carry out oil changes according to service manual but at least once annually.
v) Do not mix cooling oil of different types.
vi) Do not allow the maximum ambient temperature to be exceeded, otherwise
special measures must be agreed between the manufacturer and the customer.
vii) Maintain and monitor the operating temperature according to the manufacturer’s
specification to avoid build – up of condensate in the oil circulation.
viii) Use cooling oil recommended by the manufacturer.
ix) Use the filter cartridge of the oil separation tank only until the specified
pressure drop of 1 bar across the filter is reached.
Possible causes of failure:
i) Low oil
ii) Cooling system fault.
iii) Ambient temperature too high or too low.
iv) Clogged filter mat, oil filter or cooler.
